Very carefully I engrave with the smallest available engraving tip right into the antler! This becomes a permanent and lasting "signature" that insures that you have received the absolute finest available antler art in the world!
Usually the number coincides with the date that the piece was finished.

I have by request used the customer's own birthday or other relevant date of importance...
